Research & Development

The work behind
every protocol

Position

Continuous research, carried out in our own laboratories.

Longevity medicine moves quickly, and much of what circulates is untested. We maintain a standing research and development programme so that what we offer is reviewed against current evidence rather than fixed at the point it was written.

That work runs across two laboratories — one in Canada and one in Costa Rica — and feeds directly into the diagnostic panels, the retest intervals and the protocols our physicians prescribe.

Principles

Measured, not asserted

Every line of inquiry begins with something we can quantify and retest. If a change cannot be measured in a biomarker, an image or a functional test, we do not claim it.

Published evidence first

Protocols are built from the peer-reviewed literature and revised as it moves. Where evidence is early, we say so plainly rather than presenting it as settled.

Delivered where it is regulated

Work that is restricted under Canadian regulation is carried out at our Costa Rica laboratory, under the same physicians and the same standards.

Consent and privacy

Patient data contributes to research only with explicit opt-in consent, de-identified, and never sold or shared with insurers or advertisers.

Active lines of inquiry

Biological age

Epigenetic and proteomic ageing

Comparing methylation clocks and plasma proteomic organ-age signals against functional outcomes across repeat assessments, to establish which measures actually track change.

Regenerative medicine

Cellular and immune protocols

Structured follow-up of cellular, plasma and immune interventions, with pre- and post- biomarker panels and imaging on a fixed retest interval.

Early detection

Imaging and biomarker concordance

Studying where whole-body imaging, cardiac calcium scoring and blood-based markers agree — and where they do not — to refine what belongs in each assessment level.

Decision support

ZOE AI interpretation

Ongoing validation of our interpretation layer against physician review. ZOE supports clinical judgement; it does not diagnose or prescribe.

Laboratories

Canada

Langley, British Columbia

Our Canadian laboratory handles diagnostic sample processing, biomarker panels and the longitudinal data set behind every protocol. Specialty assays are sent to accredited reference laboratories.

Langley estate

Costa Rica

South Pacific region

Our Costa Rica laboratory supports the regenerative and cellular programmes, including preparation and analysis for interventions delivered under Costa Rican regulation.

Research findings inform our protocols; they are not claims of outcome for any individual. See every measure included at each level.

Discuss Research & development enquiry with a physician

Choose the clinic and the dates that suit you. Every course begins with an assessment, and we will tell you plainly if this is not the right intervention for you.

Interventions restricted under Canadian regulation are delivered at our Costa Rica clinic, under the same physicians and the same protocol.
