The people behind the practice

Founders
of Anagennis

Origin

Built by people who wanted this care to exist for themselves.

Anagennis began with a straightforward frustration: the diagnostics that reveal disease years before symptoms, and the therapies that act on the biology of ageing, exist — but they sit scattered across research centres, private hospitals and jurisdictions, with no one responsible for the whole picture of a single person.

We built a practice that takes that responsibility. A complete baseline, a physician who owns the interpretation, a protocol delivered where it can be delivered properly, and retesting that tells you honestly whether it worked.

Dr. David Lasner

Co-Founder & Medical Director

Dr. David Lasner is a physician, entrepreneur, and co-founder of Anagennis, with extensive experience across family medicine, emergency medicine, hospital-based care, procedural medicine, regenerative therapies, and longevity-focused healthcare.

At Anagennis, Dr. Lasner is responsible for the clinical governance of every protocol — from whole-genome sequencing and advanced imaging to regenerative, cellular, metabolic, and oxygen-based therapies. He oversees the clinical framework that determines how each intervention is evaluated, integrated, and delivered, with particular attention to safety, evidence, physician oversight, and regulatory requirements.

A central part of his role is ensuring that each diagnostic or therapeutic intervention is provided in the jurisdiction where it is appropriately regulated and clinically supported, allowing Anagennis to offer advanced therapies while maintaining rigorous medical and governance standards.

Dr. Lasner also helps shape the organization’s broader clinical model, integrating hospital-grade diagnostics, advanced biomarker testing, regenerative medicine, longevity medicine, and artificial intelligence into a highly personalized approach to health optimization and disease prevention.

His clinical interests include regenerative medicine, image-guided procedures, orthobiologics, metabolic health, advanced diagnostics, healthy aging, and emerging technologies designed to improve function, resilience, and long-term health.

His focus at Anagennis is to build a model of care that moves beyond episodic medicine — combining comprehensive biological data, physician interpretation, and individualized therapeutics to create a more predictive, preventive, and precise approach to healthcare.

Portrait of Ellen Cmolik

Ellen Cmolik

Co-Founder & Chief Financial Officer

Ellen Cmolik is a co-founder of Anagennis, created to bring hospital-grade diagnostics, advanced regenerative medicine, and highly personalized care into an environment designed around the patient rather than the institution. She leads clinic development across Langley and Costa Rica and oversees the organization’s residency programmes, helping shape both the patient experience and the development of future practitioners.

A Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Financial Planner, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, Ellen brings more than three decades of experience across industry, public accounting, the non-profit sector, and education. Her professional background has given her a strong foundation in organizational development, financial stewardship, and long-term strategic growth.

Philanthropy has remained central to Ellen’s work. She is particularly passionate about expanding access to education and creating opportunities for young people who may otherwise face financial or social barriers. Her support of educational initiatives throughout British Columbia reflects a deeply personal belief in the power of mentorship, access, and opportunity to change lives.

Across her professional, philanthropic, and entrepreneurial work, Ellen brings together financial discipline, compassion, and practical leadership. Her focus is consistent: to build thoughtful organizations, create meaningful opportunities for others, and help develop models of care that are more personal, more responsive, and more human.

Scientific Council

To be determined

Appointments to the Scientific Council are to be determined. The council will be responsible for translating the longevity literature into measurable protocols: which biomarkers matter, how often they are retested, and what constitutes a meaningful result over a twelve-month arc rather than a single visit.

What we agreed on

Measure first

No protocol begins before a full diagnostic baseline. Every recommendation is traceable to a number we can retest.

Physician-led

Interventions are prescribed and supervised by physicians. Nothing is sold from a menu without assessment.

One standard, two jurisdictions

Interventions restricted under Canadian regulation are delivered at our Costa Rica clinic under the same physicians and the same protocol.
